Self proclaimed treasure of Jinju, South Korea Park Minhyuk, debut on the 23rd of february 2016 in the group Astro in the position of Main Dancer and Lead Rapper under Fantagio Music.

He was teased as the secret weapon dancing machine on Fantagio’s iTeen channel from the age of 13 years flaunting his skills. He started his dancing journey at the age of 4 mainly in ballet, later getting jazz, tap dance and hip hop influences. Before joining Fantagio in 2010 he trained to star in the musical Billy Elliot however ultimately decided to audition and got accepted to become a trainee. Meanwhile he made a little name for himself participating in tvN’s Korea’s Got Talent in summer of 2011 and getting a Cameo role on the MNet Drama “Perseverance Goo Haera” along with his team mate Moonbin.
After participating Fantagio’s Web Drama 투비컨티뉴드 “To Be Continued” along with the members of Astro the group finally debut in 2016.

His participation in dance and choreography is undeniable. He started early coming up with choreo and point dance sections for Fantagio’s senior groups Hello Venus and 5prise and participated in arranging the choreographies for Astro's stage like “Fireworks” and “Wake up call”. As a dancer he gained public interest by his appearance as the youngest contestant of Mnet’s “Hit the Stage” and later in 2018 as the hidden dancer Purple 23 in 1theK’s format “Dance War’ where he ranked as a runner-up next to Samuel.

In recent years along with songwriting he discovered his love for composing music for Astro and was able to release the songs “When the wind blows” on the album Blue Flame and “No I don’t” as a Digital Single as well as the special solo song from their concert tour STARLIGHT “Have a nice day.”

In 2020 he branched out his skill set even further becoming the first MC of the chinese program “Idols Go To Work” under Sohu TV and singing his first OST as a vocalist for the web drama series “DokGoBin is Updating” with the name “Shiny Blue”.
